The North Attleboro Monday Night Grid Iron Club has identified a considerable concern with the current weight room used by ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES at the North Attleboro High School. Most, if not all, of the equipment is quite outdated, as the same equipment is still being utilized 25 years after it was first installed. After 25 years of use, the weight room is worn down and no longer serves a meaningful purpose for our student-athletes. Further, some of the equipment actually poses a hazard to the safety of the student-athletes, which has become very concerning.
To ensure our student-athletes are training in an environment where they can reach their full potential in a safe environment, the weight room needs to be properly revamped with new racks, benches, dumbbells, flooring and more. To continue the tradition of excellence established by North Attleboro Athletics, a properly equipped training environment is essential for our student-athletes.
The Monday Night Grid Iron Club is spearheading a fundraising effort to raise $80,000 to cover the associated expenses with this weight room revamping. We need all members of the North Attleboro community to come together to help meet our fundraising goal so that EVERY STUDENT-ATHLETE IN ALL SPORTS may benefit from this effort.
We are seeking both individual and business sponsorships.
